I've been forced into a corner due to being diagnosed as pre-diabetic and I'm trying my best to replace my favorite soft drink classic coca cola.
Diet coke is absolutely out of the question because to me it's the nastiest concoction of chemicals I've ever drank in my entire life.
I pretty much despise all diet soda with the exception of Sunkist diet mandarin orange which isn't great by any stretch, but I can tolerate it if I had to I guess.
The other day I decided to try Coke Zero after several people claimed that it was much better than diet coke and that it's taste resembles coke classic.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised and managed to drink an entire can without upchucking it.
It's not coke classic, but it's the "least" diet tasting diet soda I've ever drank and it hasn't affected my blood sugar.

Also consider, this gentleman also looks to be in great shape, so his body burns the sugar faster than someone who isn’t. I’ve noticed when I don’t work out much, my sugar spikes easily, but after a good few days of working out, the same meal that spiked me, doesn’t affect me. If that makes sense.
