I just want to say. You are hands down the best therapist there is for OCD. You truly get what OCD is! After finding your page a month or two ago; finally I have techniques that actually feel like its working! Slowly, but I rather that then not progressing at all! I had terrible insomnia my entire life, and I finally just recently got over it. I'm not exactly sure how I got rid of it, but I am forever beyond grateful. I hope anyone struggling with it can some day not have to deal with it anymore.

I’ve noticed that my anxiety gets worse whenever I’m alone and it’s awful. Every activity I used to love while I was alone is so hard to do without harm, real event, sexual orientation, and magical thinking ocd ruining my life.

I've been having anxiety about real event ocd that I'm not even sure about. I've been fighting a compulsion to start confessing because that can start straining relationships. This is something from years ago that I haven't thought about for years that popped up closer in the evening. I used to take medication that would help but it was the kind of medication that just causes problems in the long run that's no longer an option

Especially for all the super sensitive people out there (like myself 😉😊) all the steps above PLUS a Bluetooth Headband. Choose your own relaxing sound, for me personally rain and thunder makes me fall asleep in approximately 3min 😊 and my partner who shied away from the band loves it now 😊 he has sleep apnea btw 🙃

You can actually get a color filter on iPhone, don’t know about android tho.
But you can choose a red color filter, it helps not disturbing your melatonin levels in your brain, because it’s much different from the night shift setting, because instead of removing some of the harmful blue light it removes all the blue light from your phone screen. And it doesn’t mean you just can watch videos before night time, read something instead. I’m reading light novels and manga on my phone, so that setting helps, so you still can look at your phone. At least it’s a lot cheaper than going out to buy a lot of books :)
