Michael is always a guy I enjoy listening to. Straight to the point, no day dreaming, no philosophical theories, just plain facts.

The Russian tactics are very complex: destroy everything with artillery and then pick up the pieces.

I really fail to see how any claimed Russian victory could ever stand the test of time. Taking some territory might be a possibility but holding it for any length of time just seems impossible. It's doomed to end in an embarrassing failure for Russia and Putin (if he is still around)

Something important has already happened around Kherson: Ukrainian forces liquidated 2 more Ruski generals and 1 more seriously wounded, probably rip very soon.

Yes, as a resident of Kherson, we are aware of Russia's desire for a referendum, but 98% of the residents of our city do not want to be part of Russia. All Khersonians are waiting and hoping for the early release of the Ukrainian army. Tomorrow, on April 28, there will be a peaceful rally for Ukraine. I hope Russian soldiers will not exterminate people.

The planned referendum in Kherson may have hit a snag. The mayor has refused to cooperate. More importantly, on April 22, the Ukrainian army destroyed a forward command post of the 49th Combined Arms Army, killing two generals and sending a third in critical condition to the hospital. (About 50 senior officers were present. The total casualty toll is unknown.) Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army has pushed to the borders of Kherson. Probably not a great time for a referendum.

Russia is beaten heavily by Ukraine. This war is the end of Russia. Same as lost war waged by Russia against Japan of 1905, which eventually caused the Revolution

Any discussions on how many troops or vehicles russian military have lost is irrelevant. They only thing that matters is a count down on how many of them is still remaining and when this counter will run to 0.

I would ordinarily feel sorry for the Russian troops, but with the many revelations of horrific war crimes such as looting, rape and mass murder, I have little sympathy left for them. Any decent Russian soldier with a conscience would be well advised to distance themselves from this war of terrorism. By now, they should know in their hearts that what is happening is wrong on every level. So it shouldn't be hard to choose to preserve their own lives and just disappear until all these atrocities are over and done with. Putin will suffer a withering defeat, it's best to get away from that train wreck, and survive for better days. I don't hate all Russians, they have been lied to and fed so much propaganda that most don't know which end is up. This evil campaign of Putin to seize Ukrainian wealth for himself is an affront to every Russian and every human. Russian citizens should be treated with the same respect that any human deserves. Freedom for the Russian people is LONG OVERDUE.

M142 Himars coming in soon will devastate if Ukrainians can get them on the battlefield to their soldiers. 300km range. Will be their best combo with uav’s.

The question now remains: how many of those "Elite Units" are still combat effective?
