It’s not an “Invasion”. It’s a Special Operation! Very special.

It is not an "incursion", it is the LIBERATION of Kursk - and the Ukrainian soldiers were welcomed by Ukrainian citizens there, who had been suppressed by Russia until then.

The west is like, “Ukraine didn’t violate our policies.” on the surface, but in the heart, “Well done Ukraine, kick Putin’s ass. I have had enough of this AH.”

No one seems to see the symbolic importance of Kursk. in 1943, after the losses at Stalingrad, the Nazis were still strong enough to launch a major operation centered on taking Kursk. With the advantage of a strong intel operation, the Soviets were strongly entrenched and basically destroyed the offensive capability of the German army. It was one of the largest battles in history and a major Russian victory. To get driven so abjectly from its defenses in the kursk region has got to grate on Putin, who certainly remembers more than most Western reporters and commentators.

Russia not only projected to have lost 500'000 soldier (this does not mean killed, just unable to fight because wounded or captured.) But do not forget that around 3 *MILLLION* Russian people fled Russia over these 2 years, most of them are young and middle aged men who were fleeing from the mobilization.

Ironically the idea of a western equipped mechanized army attacking through to the Russian core through Kursk was something they feared before the war

People don’t understand how badass the Ukrainians are. During WW2, their units were some of the toughest the Red Army had.

A lot of ppl forget that even though russia is really big 80% of it is just empty fields and a lot of snow.
Taking such a small portion of the land where ppl can actually live and have cities is a monument achievement!

No matter what happens we now see how much of a weak joke Russia and Putin are.

Over a million people live there. And ALOT of Russia in uninhabited. That’s a big win for Ukraine.

This war has been a costly embarrassment for Putin and Russia.

Of course it's common sense. This issue is that for the last 70 years most wars have been not been about territory, but ideology. Large scale fights for territory means that yes Ukraine has the right and need to counter invade. For Ukraine this is a Total War. Some in the West may disagree with their tactics, but ultimately those voices are not the ones in the crosshairs and don't get a say in how Ukraine decides to defend itself.

I'm proud that Sweden is sending so much support to Ukraine, but even more so that we withdrew our financial assistance to Mali after they started supporting Russia. Now those tens of millions of dollars can go to Ukraine instead. Silly Mali.

Go as far into Russia as possible without being surrounded. That is the risk. If they can get as close to Moscow as possible and stay there. That will really put pressure on Putin.
