Have you ever woken up and can't seem to move? You can't speak. You open your eyes and see dark figures that aren't really there? This bizarre and frightening experience that many people (including Miranda!) have gone through is called sleep paralysis. So what is it? And how can we stop it from happening? woah, Miranda, we have the same thing. I don't actually see anything, for me, it's just unsettling to wake up and not be able to move. Most likely due to lack of a healthy sleep hygiene, a consequence of working too much. Every time I get an episode it is a good wake up call to improve my sleep schedule, set up alarm clocks and eat healthier. We are the same age, would be nice to be friends, but I know, worlds apart and unrealistic. Have a great day and good luck with avoiding sleep paralysis, this shit sucks!

My brother slept in my room recently and heard me screaming through my mouth in sleep paralysis. For me if I don’t break free from it I get pulled back into sleeping but it’s then a lucid dream I’m in for hours. I get sleep paralysis again and if I don’t break free the cycle continues 😭
