While Steve and his guest bring up pretty good points/suggestions my only question is, when they were "dating/courting" why didn't they take that time to work out effective communication?

The wife is like the mother! She needs to learn to respect his feelings cause it seems that he is a sensitive guy! She's taller than him & has kind of an attitude so that's probably intimidating to him as a guy! Steve's right, 8 month marriage & their here talking to him, they need to find what works for them (communication & listening) or it's not going to work out!
