This is one of the scariest scenes in all of Star Wars. Bespin is a gas giant, which means it has no solid surface to land on. If Luke didn't catch on to the antenna, he would have fallen through endless layers of clouds, further and further into the atmosphere until he would have been likely crushed by the pressure.

In Ep 4, Luke rescues Leia. In Ep 5, Leia rescues Luke.

Chewie trusts Leia without question. He's still hurting badly after losing Han. If there is any chance of rescuing Luke he'll take it. He doesn't want to lose both of them.

This scene is powerful! This makes us understand that Lucas actually thought about Leia being sensitive to the force. She feels Luke as he is in danger. She can feel how he feels and is immediately able to capture his emotions and know exactly where he is. In episode 5 Leia was already sensitive to force.

When Lando gets Luke back into the Falcon, and Leia immediately rushes towards Luke full speed and gives him that tight hug, that always gets me.

When the Falcon turns around, and goes that loop/twist and comes back toward the camera, that engine sound has always been something I’ve loved. In the prequels, they started making ships sound like biplanes and stuff, but that roar ofvthe Falcon’s engine is pure ear candy. It’s like 3-4 747s.

When he reaches out to Leia it always gives me goosebumps. Always has since I first saw this. The music and the scene of Leila’s face is magical. You just know Luke isn’t finished and the fight isn’t over!

The connection between the twins is crazy. We never saw something like that in the franchise, until the weird shit between Rey and Kylo.

In Return of the Jedi, there was more dialogue in Luke's conversation with Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan tells Luke that if he hadn't been so impatient to face Vader, he could've stayed on Dagoba with Yoda and completed the training and would've been prepared to face Vader the first time. Luke says in his defense that he had to help his friends. Obi-Wan asks Luke if he did help them. He points out to Luke that they were the ones who had to save him. He accomplished very little by rushing back prematurely.
