BEST mindful eating tips! | Edukale
Показать описание
Mindful eating means eating consciously in a healthy and balanced way while listening to your body’s needs and focusing on all aspects of your food.
Here are some tips to help you eat more mindfully:
👀Pay attention to your food. Be conscious of the foods you buy when you grocery shop, and don’t put foods mindlessly into your cart.
😊Stay in tune with your hunger cues. Make sure to eat in accordance with your body’s signals. If your stomach is growling and your energy is low, it’s time to eat. Once your stomach feels comfortably full and your desire for food is going down, you can stop eating.
🍽️Eat your meal at the table, without any distractions.
It’s important for meal time to be a defined and structured moment. Place your food on a plate, and eat with proper utensils, all while sitting down at the table.
Focus on what you’re putting into your mouth instead of other distractions.
😋Eat and chew slowly. Make sure to take breaks between bites. It’ll feel a little odd at first, but you should try to appreciate each bite as if you were eating the food for the first time. Take the time to cut your food, then put it in your mouth and asses its aspect and taste.
🧠Listen to your emotions. How do you feel before eating? During? After? In the beginning, don’t hesitate to write it down. You might be able to discern a pattern between how you’re feeling and what you are putting in your body.
This could help you realize what your emotional triggers are and how they reflect on how you eat. Once you’ve acknowledged them, it’ll be easier to work on making them disappear for good.
