I think a lot of people don't realize, and maybe completely unintended on Rowlings part, but Tom Riddle grew up in an orphanage in London, during the london blitz. Every year he pleaded to dumbledore to let him live in Hogwarts but he was refused, so he kept having to return to a place where the threat of dying every summer was extremely high. Thus contributed to Voldemort(flight from death in french)and his overwhelming desire not to die.

Voldemort is my favorite and least favorite character at the same time. I just think he is a really sad case. He doesn’t have the ability to feel love and grew up all alone. But I also hate him. I mean he was evil..

well considering there are several known ways to Destroy a Horcrux I’d say that several others have been made, after all how would you discover multiple ways of destroying Horcruxes if you haven’t destroyed multiple horcruxes.

i think its safe to say that who ever put that book there in the first place has made a Horcrux, and it could be possible this guy is still around, possibly laughing at voldermort's actions as in this persons mind voldermort would have a lot to learn
