I met my Filipina over 7 years ago & over years of travel & courting (interrupted by covid) we are now full time together for 18 months in Australia.
When I ask her what she was looking for when she met me, I lover her very simple answer “a good man”. And that’s it….she was looking for a good man, someone who respects her, treats her well, loves her. She was living and working a long time in the UAE so was almost westernised to a point ( because of the families she worked for were mainly British) so, she had the perfect understanding of both Filipino culture and also how we see things from a westerners point of view.
