Don't forget to make sure all of your system components are working as expected BEFORE you spend an hour making cable-management art :-)

If you have a 'lady' come over and she's impressed by your cable management, you sir just hit the jackpot ;)

One question: when you say "in this case" do you mean "in this particular situation" or "in this PC cabinet" ??

another tip, do cable managment with twist ties, then swap them for cable ties later once you have worked out where everything is going

Above the power supply was brilliant, my setup has that gap but I never thought to use it. Got rid of a lot of clutter there wasn't room for, thank you!

Another cable management hack; use m.2 drives and skip having to use sata data AND power cables!

Wow, I don`t think my cable management is bad but you made me reconsider it, thank you for your advice Dmitry. I just built my first computer after 6 years, everything changed so much. The advice that I got from this channel helped me so much. Thank you!

Why don't case manufacturers add like half a centimeter for more space. Like just that little bit of extra space will make things so much easier.

Who uses physical cables? Just download them.

Nice to see a realistic looks at cables and management of them. All I ever see on youtube are these builds that look like there are no cables at all. Not saying a build with hidden cables is bad at all but for the average builder is unrealistic

Why don't motherboard manufacturers just place the CPU power 8 pin and main power 30 pin on the rear side?

I think this was a great video. Not only did it tell you how to cable manage, but in a way it gave steps on how to actually build a computer with what cords to start with first to better cable manage. Good work!

Instead of zip ties buy a bunch of cheap velcro cable ties. You can get 100 for about $8 off Amazon (with Prime shipping) and you can cut them up to make quick, clean, re-usable cable mounting points all over your case. Also, crafters tip: Need a cable mounting point somewhere the case manufacturer didn't think of? Velcro tie + hot glue.

Something I recently learned at my internship is to braid all the small case cables.. and I must say that I think that that is a really good idea/ tip. :)

Thanks for the video. I was actually looking at individually sleeved cables when the notification for this video came up. When I first decided I wanted to build a PC, I was a bit intimidated by cables and cable management. Now I'm looking forward to it as I prepare for my first ever build.

I recommend buying "flush cutters" for your zip ties. I use them every day for my job so they don't scratch and create a smooth surface with nothing sticking out.
