My best tips for cable management is to use zip ties and cable management tubes. And put the outlets behind somewhere (not under the desk!)

This is it. It doesn't even need to be under the cable. As long as you're able to hide most of the wires in any way and organize your desk without clutter, then you're good.

I just got these 3m adhesive strap/ loop things that I just bundle the wires and trap them down. Keeps it all pressed up to the top and I let my usb c and micro usb cable just hang so I could pull it through a cable holder I have on my desk and use as much or as little cable needed.

I just use a giant plant bc I don't want them to be all over the place, but still can be used easily.

what would be the best way to hide the cables coming out of the PC if you have your computer placed sideways with the desk? My case doesn't really have good cooling and I don't feel comfortable placing the back where most of the vents are by the wall

I use this but have all the cables tied down neat behind the power strip, so you dont see them
