I had this surgery 9 years ago. Now I have the confidence to perform this operation on others.

I was 16 when my appendix wanted to vacate my body. They used the ports as I have the three scars like this shows. But once they opened me up, they found my appendix had been leaking and the surrounding organs and tissues had solidified toxins costing them and I needed to be “scrubbed out” was in the hospital for two weeks cuz my WBC was way off. Doc said I was a walking miracle, I should have been dead. God is good!

Unfortunately when I was 6 my appendix ruptured and i went septic I had to learn how to walk again and everything it was really serious I almost died from it and it is the worse stomach ache ever it literally feel like labor pains! Lucky to be alive then in 2020 I had two brain surgery’s I literally beat death twice already luckily I went to the hospital in time because the doctor told me literally I made it just in time because if I had came when I did I had a estimated 2 months to live so I’m so blessed to be here for sure always go with your gut feeling when you think something is seriously wrong I dealt with headaches for awhile until I finally said enough is enough I just wanted the headaches to go away so always trust your body it definitely gives you warning signs don’t wait it out always get checked!! So now I have hydrocephalus and short term memory all from a colloid cyst and I also have a unruptured aneurysm as well I’m just blessed to be here!

My appendix was removed in 2007 (not ruptured), no such ports, just a single cut. Stayed in the hospital for a week.

My appendix ruptured in 2016 and they didn’t believe me when I said it did even though I was admitted for appendicitis. They had me lying in pain from 5pm to 7am and then finally did surgery. When they opened me up they said I had “murky fluid in the pelvis”. I ended up staying for another 4 nights. Worse pain than childbirth for real.

Mine burst. Had it sitting there for two weeks with great pains. It infected my entire abdomen before I finally got to the hospital. Cut me up from left to right to clean up the mess. Six months recovery time. Doc said it was a close call. Stay safe.

I had this done in 2006 and apparently I bled a lot so I had to stay in the hospital for a week until I was no longer weak and anemic. It was intensely exhausting.

I had this same surgery in 2008 when I was in my early 40s. I stayed in hospital for 4 days afterwards. When I was sent home I was in bed recuperating when all of a sudden I started to throw up green stuff. The ambulance came and I had to stay another 5 days. I was so sick, but thank God I'm here.😊

Had my first ever surgery last night and it was this. Suffered the last 5 days with stomach pains wrongly dismissed (by an ER nurse) as a stomach virus. Second opinion showed it was clearly my appendix. Waited the entire day to go to surgery at night and was able to go home the next day 🎉 so grateful I listened to my body and followed my gut. So sore right now, watching videos on what the hell they did to me lol

I went to the hospital, told them what I thought I had . Told them the pain began 30 hours prior . They confirmed appendicitis .
4 hours later while waiting, it burst and no pain killer helped .
I was told it needed immediate surgery , then I was told it wouldn't happen for 12 hours and suddenly they changed their minds once more and I received this same procedure but because of the burst appendix , an abscess developed from the fecal matter so they had to put a drain and I remained in the hospital for 10 days instead of 1 .
A nurse that I knew recognized me and told the staff to operate immediately or I might not be here now. The staff was upset with a new device that was being used starting that day to keep track of patient care and I felt that I was going to be the proof that it didn't work.
The dead patient or sacrificial lamb so they would not have to use the device .
I am very thankful for my friend nurse . Someone else told me what she did .
