There is no consequence by removing an appendix because appendix is a vestigial organ which is there in the abdomen to cause a problem. Normally there is no function of the appendix which is helpful for the human body. So by removing the appendix there is no harm to the body. The only thing is if it cause a perforation, a rupture, if there is a pus, there might be a dense adhesion of the intestine, later part of his life he can develop intestinal obstruction because of the adhesions. Otherwise by removing an appendix which is functionless organ in the body, it should not cause harm to the humans.

the appendix has a very important role for the body. it helps the pancreas to secrete insulin in the body and the secretion of digestive enzymes. people without an appendix are more prone to diabetes, weight gain, stomach ulcers, urinary tract infections.
