These are very well done. Had a little trouble getting the SWEEP function to treat the profile as one piece. It was only "sweeping" the first section of the clip, but then I held CTRL and selected everything and somehow it worked. I see others had similar experiences.

I followed your instructions to a T, and I cannot use the sweep command without getting "The start direction of a path segment is antiparallel to the end direction of the previous oath segment".

Another great tutorial! I made the mistake of starting the first sketch on the front plane instead of the top plane. I made the mistake because I was trying to follow along just by listening and not watching. Won't do that again. I spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to shift the plane, but then decided to just start over. Then everything went perfectly.

Cool I finally know what sweep does! My final render is in sections however. Like the clip has several separate selectable pieces. I suspect it has something to do with the fillets but Im not sure. The path I made the sweep with was one solid line.

At the last step when selected Sweep it does sweep and the clip is completed but it is not in one piece what i mean to say is the fillet we have used to make rounded edges, its showing different different pieces are joint together

Hi Kevin, I've a question. Are you pressing shift to select multiple corner point before applying Fillet? I can do that without pressing shift. But sometimes I'm facing issues after applying Fillet.

this lesson seems easy initially but i kept messing up the sweep because my lines aren't parallel. i'll check out the day 16 constraints lesson to see that helps keep my lines correctly sketched, i think the fillet is messing them up

In the last step, the sweep step, I don't understand what this "profile" is and why it is needed. I assume it's to set some start point for the sweep - am I correct? The sweep cannot be done without the profile?

Yep, this tutorial deserves to be redone. Just wasted 30 minutes trying to sweep but it fails where the clip turns back on itself.

The first 2 days worked a bit better. On this one I tried adding the fillets to the sketch and the sketch kept going crazy. I noticed it did it in your video and then corrected itself. What did you do? I've watched some other tutorials and typically they show how to apply all of the constraints to the sketch first so that it doesn't go crazy. That seems like an important step.

Hey Kevin, just to be sure, for Days 2 and 3, did you change the visual style to shaded only? I noticed your videos don't show the visual edges, is that how you have them not showing your lines?

Hi Kevin, my sweep mode won’t go though entire clip. What am I doing wrong? There is 1 error(s) says The Starr direction of a path segment is anticipated to the end of direction of the previous segment. But I made a path of paper clip in one continuous.
