Academy Award-winning actor Alan Arkin, who won acclaim for performances both comedic and heartfelt, died on Friday, June 30 at the age of 89. He’s sorely missed. Such an incredible actor that made every movie he was in feel more bold. He became one of my favorite actors after seeing both Glengary GlenRoss and Gattaca, and then later in Little Miss Sunshine. Anyone else in those roles just wouldn’t have been able to pull it off.
