If you replace the tie rod ends or drag link in the steering system, you will need to do a tow alignment on your truck. TMR makes these toe alignment plates that help you do this at home with two tape measures.
Link below for the alignment plates👇

I think it’s supposed to be toed in just a tiny little bit. When they’re perfect straight the car seems to wander on the road while driving straight.

thats crazy, my dad used some old bed frame rails he modified in probably 1999 for the same thing..exact same concept. he gave me his 95 f150 10 yrs ago, still my daily driver.

The tow is not the same with the suspension unloaded as it is when the suspension is loaded

You do not want your toe to be even you need at least a 16th of inward toe or it would drive like crap but those plates are awesome thanks for the video

when I was taught to do that I was taught the front of the tire had to be in between a 16th and 1/8 of an inch so when you went down the road the tires would spry out

Ford tip: watch for rust. Remove salt from and protect undercarriage with treatment for it. Love fords but rust prematurely in colder states. Btw you’re handsome and like the gloves on ya.

As close as I can get a tape measure alignment I still just do it to make sure the ride to the alignment shop goes smooth and doesn't murder my tires. Those TMR plates look nice and I kinda want them now.

Don't the TTB and TIB require a more toed in stance more so than most IFS and don't 99% of vehicles require a slight toe in not even

Hell I can get some angle iron and make those myself

Shouldn't the stands be located as far outboard as practicable, to get the suspension compressed to near normal ride height?

Do you know where I can get the tie rods and center link for a 1995 f350 with a straight axle, ford discontinued them and I've had trouble finding an exact replacement

What if the other side is way out? All you will do is set them parallel but both wrong.

Every model of car has its own toe in or toe out measurement. They are to be found in the service specifications .

Even is not good to go. 1/8 inch toed in is about what you want, alignment shops use degrees, but that toll is cool as long as it's not too expensive. Otherwise a guy could just make them easily
