Yeah I think a lot of us confuse boredom with depression. Or at least the depression is primarily caused by living an absolutely boring life. I'm working on changing that myself

For some, that probably sounds fantastic. I personally like to do New things, but i work with people who have grown up in abusive and unstable home. So some of them dream about having stability which a routine life might give them ☺️

I just wanna say I got a new job a month ago in costumer service, basically I call random costumers and talk to them, at first it was very tough for me but it really allowed me to be more free and I noticed I can talk to strangers outside of work more easily

I work in finance and my job takes up most of my time; then in the evenings I'm studying to attain qualifications I need to get ahead in my career. I could switch to a less demanding job to free up the time I need to live a more varied and interesting life, but then I'd earn less.

Its ok to be bored sometimes your every waking moment doesn’t need to be an action movie, smartphones have made people unable to tolerate boredom, every second you need to be stimulated somehow

my strategy is to plan every day, and give your life a variety. I also recommend putting most of fun on your day off's (in my case, saturdays).
