I love that score transition at 2:34 when Theodora cries & it burns her skin. Like it went from sad "I'm a fool" to revenge "i will fuck his life up" lol that part was brilliant I thought

Feel bad for Theodora. She was great. Much too good for Oz.

But, her main flaw was her naivete. She was too trusting of people who weren't worth a damn. Oz + Evanora.

I don't think Theodora is to blame. If Oz had been a kind man, he would have clearly rejected or accepted her affection, and instead, he toyed with her feelings. It isn't a matter of pursuing someone so heavily, but more a matter of pursuing the wrong person. At this point, Oz didn't deserve any pursuing at all, subtle or not.

As someone who grew up loving the film versions of Mombi and the Wicked Witch of the West, Rachel Weisz's Evanora was so satisfying! Her performance and character stands right up there will those other iconic Oz witches.

Theodora wasn’t to blame. It was Evanora and Oz. She was naive sure but they used it against her. Instead of accepting or rejecting her he toyed with her emotions and Evanora pushed and prodded and manipulated her as much as she could

It occurred to me that Theodora IS the most powerful of all the witch's in this film. She doesn't need a special object to harness her gift; her power comes from within unlike Evanora who needs the jeweled necklace & Glinda who needs a wand....
