Collard Greens Recipe
6 cups of water
1 bag of collard greens
2 lbs of smoked turkey tails
2 tablespoons of onion powder
2 tablespoons of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of black pepper
1 tablespoon and 1/2 of salt
3 tablespoons of salt free vegetable season
1 tablespoon of distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon of bacon grease (optional)
Add 6 cups of water to a large pot
Add all dry seasonings
Add distilled white vinegar
Boil smoked turkey tails on medium low heat for 2 hours
After 2 hours of boiling your meat, add collard greens and cook on medium heat for 40 minutes to 1 hour depending on the tenderness you like your green
