Polly, I want to thank you and the creators of the Visit Tallin Videos. So many of the YouTube Videos are from self-aggrandizing couples that just want to brag about where they are a visiting. Yours are informative and interesting. I will be touring Europe, in a month, and have two days in Tallinn. I have watched many of your videos and took many notes. Thank you for your help

Single tickets are no longer sold at R kiosks! You need to buy at automatic ticket machines or pay with your contactless card on board! (21 Nov 2022)

Fun Fact: Every once in a while the Retro trams will run on line 2. I have only seen it once (at balti jaam) but they are really cool!

Your videos are very informative. On the tram, do you have to scan in and scan out when using smart card?

A great video with lots of good information. Question: If I want to pay more than one ticket, do I choose the ticket amount first by pressing the arrows on the validator, by the driver?

Visiting your country coming from Texas, and this video is very helpful. I plan to use my contactless card. What public transportation available from Ferry terminal to the Estonia Maritime museum? Look forward to visiting the Christmas market as well. Thank you!

Great video! One question... If you pay for public transport with your bank card, how to you provide proof of payment to a fare inspector if asked? Do you receive a receipt after tapping your bank card? Unlike most transport issued payment cards (which can be checked by an inspector) a normal bank card cannot.

Hello - thank you for all the information. Is it possible to buy a 72 hour travel card upon arrival from the R Kiosk at the airport? Thank you.

hello, can you buy the tallin card at the airport and then use that same card to get the public transport from airport to city center? that way you wouldn't have to take the cab...

Thanks for the very helpful video. Two questions please:
1) I will be travelling to Tallin next month with my 12-yr-old child and I would like to know if we need to buy two individual Smartcards upon arrival (and load them with 3-day tickets each), or if the amount of these two 3-day tickets can be loaded on one single SmartCard (and used for both passengers).
2) As regards Apple Pay direct from phone, it seems that it is only valid for plain 1-hour tickets (for one or more passengers) and cannot be used as a substitute of a Smartcard for multi-day tickets, did I get it correct?

Is 5-day ticket only working with Ühiskaart? And 5 day ticket means 96 hours from first validate? Thank you for the help.

Hi, thank you for such a great video.
I have one question, though. I am going to Estonia with my boyfriend in a month or so and we are planning to use the reogional bus number 151 to travel from Tallinn to the Lahemaa national park. How do I buy ticket for this bus? I suppose regional busses work a little differently than tallinn public transport but I can not find any useful information online. Thank you so much!
