PERFECT JASMINE RICE in 1 minute using INSTANT POT DUO! (#14)

Use this recipe for a PERFECT Jasmine Rice EVERYTIME! Just put rice in pot, set for 1 minute and walk away!!! Only cooking time is 1 minute..extra time is needed before and after; for pressurizing and pressure release.

INGREDIENTS
2 FULL cups Jasmine Rice
2 1/2 cups luke warm tap water (for soft rice). (Use 2 and 1/4 cups for al dente rice).
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1) Plug Instant Pot
2) Add 2 cups jasmine rice (washed once & strained).
3) Add 2 1/2 cups water
4) Add 1/2 tsp salt
5) Ensure No stray rice grains on the inside of the pot or around the lid.
6) Close & lock the lid of the instant pot
7) Set the valve to SEALING position
8) Press "PRESSURE COOK"
9) Set the timer to 00:01 minute (PRESS - or +). ( 3 minutes if you want very STICKY RICE...00:03)
10) It will set to "ON". It will take about 10 minutes for the pressure inside to build. Then the cooking process will start for 1 minute....it will read 00:01. After the minute, the Instant Pot will beep at L0:00 and then start counting up from 1 minute ..."L0:00, L0:01, L0:02 etc". When it reaches L0:10 do the following.
11) Press "OFF"
12) Move the valve from sealing to "VENTING"( careful as steam is releasing)
13) Open lid (careful steam can burn!) and fluff rice using 2 forks. Leave uncovered for about 15 minutes.
14) Best served hot or warm
