I walk miles at a time, alone, it feels refreshing and uplifting.

Oh yeah. I have ADHD and I’m on a walk, watching videos about ADHD and walking. Nothing ADHD about that whatsoever.

I don’t really live in an area where I could walk around and see things like this

And you know I’ve done Pest Control for 27 years and when I work for a big company, I regretted a bunch of routes. This was before cell phones. This was before GPS. I had to do everything on Thomas guide and I loved it. It was a challenge and I regretted eight routes. It was awesome. I love doing it. It gave me a satisfaction when the guys would come back from running the route and they’re like dude. This is awesome. Thank you so much yeah because before the guys were running from one city to another and then back to the same one I’m like no you’re not gonna make money like that I regretted the guide Yep, I was back in the days when you had to think there was a bunch of shortcuts like there’s so many shortcuts and life hacks. It’s so awesome.

Wireless headphones are heaven sent for this.
I have a music folder with 4, 000 songs, my audiobook folder has 3500 hours worth of audiobooks, and then there's all the podcasts I subscribe to. I don't have a car so by necessity I walk everywhere. Mostly necessary because taxis have all gone to uber, but uber is now a joke, and the subsidized public transportation is long on "public" and short on transportation.
So since I walk everywhere I don't usually stroll. When I do stroll, it often feels like a busman's holiday

This is why I love my job. It’s the easiest job I’ve ever had. I can’t believe I still get paid to do it pest control. I’ve been doing it for 27 years and there’s so much involved. It keeps my mind busy as hell and it’s awesome to talk to customers too, I’ve always liked this job. I’m outside all day long. Nobody’s looking over my shoulder. It’s freedom and if I want to take a break and go get a drink I can and what I’ve always liked is scheduling stuff. I was so good at it that my boss back in the days, had me re-grid all the routes Because I was hyper focused on it and it was easy to me. Yeah, I regretted like eight routes and made them tight as hell where the drivers are not doing a lot of driving so they’re actually working and making money that gave me satisfaction creating a job that’s better for the employee so we can make money, and not waste his time driving all over the city

When I lived in a big city I’d love taking the bus to different areas and walking around. Always so much to see and getting food while on an adventure also gave me that good good dopamine.
(I now live in a small town and dread walks…😭)

My neighbour hood pavement is all cracked up and the only stimulant in my brain is avoiding trash water, rubbish or parking bikes.

I have a walking trail on my fathers farm . Walk through the woods and every so often there are steel targets to shoot at . I would do it for a living if I could.
