Give your editor a raise. He's really good at hooking attention.

1. Track your progress
2. Break down big goals into smaller ones (and allow yourself to fail them at first)
3. Be consistent and make studying collaborative

1. Remove the consequence of failure
2. Make smaller goals that are more attainable
3. Study groups
4. Reward yourself for accomplishing reasonable goals

Can't thank you enough for giving me hope that I can still start from the start and will be able to pass the exams

analogies are the best. not having metrics for progress really resonated with me. it really is hard to gauge how well you're doing and how far you've gone. i'm going to try to make a stats board for myself with varying topics. love the videos and brand! great work! 🤙🤙

How to turn studying into a video game

1) get clear about everything you have to study ><
( Don't let the uncertainty consume you . Know your enemy first )

2) smaller tasks with rewards : )
( After knowing your enemy aka course that you got to study it must seem like ' omg this is so big !" But but but break down your big enemy into smaller pieces and Destroy it day by day, little by little)

3 ) Teammates !!!
( Ofc it'll be more fun to defeat your enemy with people who also want to defeat the same enemy . So get yourself some study buddies )

I liked the part where you said that video games gives constant feedback at where you currently are and what and how you exactly need to do things to go to the next level. If we can integrate that kind of system in our daily lives we can literary achieve god mode for our characters in real life.😄

I teach at university and play games, so the crossover was really interesting. I think I'll try to develop a "login reward" system for my class—something to the effect of stacking bonus points for consistent homework submissions (I'll iron out the details). Thanks for the content!

*This is the best self-improvement channel out there.* No BS, just straight to facts and / or personal experiences. I like that, keep up the amazing work.

1. Create a robust and detailed plan (Games have clear defined path and goal)
2. Break down big goals into smaller ones. (Make your tasks low risk)
3. Create a study group and create a accountability system. (Instilling FOMO)
4. Every task should have a reward as big as the task. (What gets rewarded get repeated)

I think I'll try to use the idea of breaking down the big challenge into small goals, but I have a problem when I study with a group of people. I usually can't focus on my own learning and also people get to ask me more questions than I usually make, which sometimes are even irrelevant for me.

As an starting youtuber, I can't even begin to understand the amount of effort devoted to create this video, from shooting, editing, animations, charts, game animation, b-rolls, etc. I hope there are like 5 or 6 people working on this, because if it's just one person doing all of it, I have a long long way to go.... Thanks for an amazing video, with great content and flawless delivery.

I am following this exact same method for past 2 years and looking back at your progress/upgrades is real motivator. Thanks for the analogy based explanations.

I entered the College of Nursing this semester and I was struggling to get high grades and I failed several times, which made me think if I was qualified for this specialization. Since I joined the academy, I have been trying to find the best study method for me. This video describes my situation completely, and explains a lot, so I will make sure to follow his advices
this video was really helpful . Thanx for your hard work ❤️

Such a well written video. I was a happy student in my first years of college. I was focused on learning and didn't care about the grades. I did well! Now, in my grad year, I want to get into medical school. The introduction of possible failure makes learning difficult and less fun! And I can't say it improves results.
