I love quartz! And if you don't........ fair enough, but you shouldn't hate it! Here are 10 watches, plus a couple of extras, to wet your single tick whistle. Cheers, Jody

I am a quartz only guy. I highly value its carefree and durable quality. However, I also value design and quality materials and often the more interesting watches are mechanical. So, watch makers please offer more high end quartz models.

Bought a pre-owned Grand Seiko Quartz for around $1500 recently. Loving every moment with it!

It's the grab-and-goability which gets a quartz selected from my watch drawer more often than not.

I'm mostly a mechanical dude but it's always good to see some respect for quartz. It deserves it.

My most worn watch is the Citizen BM8560-29EE (Garrison) after I bought it a few month ago. Saphire crystal and the Eco-Drive make it a real GADA watch for me. 200€ that made me happy😊

Love to quartz getting some love. Out of all my watches, I just love my solar quartz Seiko divers. They are always spot on and worry free. Perfect grab and go and they are great when I snorkel.

I’d recommend the Marathon SSNAV quartz pilot watch. Super high accuracy movement and real military lineage. 🔥

My three favorite quartz watches are my 1987 Seiko Pepsi Quartz pro diver (7C43-7009), Casio Duro (blue, picked up at an estate sale for $12 in new condition) and my Casio GWM5610.

I am an older guy, started before quartz watches/watches resembling Christmas trees/watches that resemble a large Tarantula on the wrist. Have wanted a wrist watch that tells time reliably, doesn't have to be fiddled with every day to work (windups), has to be remembered to be worn or it dies (automatic), doesn't have to required full concentration to put on (certain metal strap watches). When I looked for quartz watches that resembled classic automatic and windup watches, it has turned out that the watch makers don't make them.

My girlfriend has a Rollex. She loves it. She paid $700 for a periodic overhaul last year. I can afford to purchase a couple of Rolex watches. However, what I did was buy used, clean, quartz dress watches 30 years old and put new leather bands on them. Not surprisingly, they keep excellent time.

The Marathon 41mm Steel Navigator (date/no date) with ETA F06.412 HeavyDrive-PreciDrive Quartz movement is in many ways the perfect field watch. Rugged SS case, only 11mm thick, drilled lugs, high precision quartz, screwdown crown, a strap monster, bidirectional GMT bezel, sapphire crystal, long battery life with easy access for changes, and tritium for consistent lume. It's on the high side of quartz watches, but I find it is wonderful combination of features. Plus military proven :)

Owned it for a month. Super impressed. No regrets. Will be part of my permanent collection as an example of what a quartz watch can be. I don't have GS money 💰

I love my quartz Hamilton field khaki it spends most time in a drawer these days such is the hobby of watch collecting. Purchased my exit watch 5 years ago so I don’t really “collect” any more but still get my fix from videos such as yours, I thank you for that

I'm back on the "quartz is good" back end of the bell curve when it comes to watch collecting. Just give me a good looking watch that won't break the bank to service, please

The Tissot Seastar 36mm also has a High Accuracy Quartz "Precidrive" movement. $300 grey market.

300m water resistance. Excellent lume and quick release bracelet.

The Seiko essentials range (SUR Models) are very under appreciated. The Seiko SUR371 in titanium has been my daily driver ever since I snagged an insane deal on Amazon. Sunburst dials in a bunch of colors, classic Seiko/GS styling, framed date window, 20mm strap monsters, and come in a range of sweet-spot sizes. As someone who seems to be constantly running a bit behind, its nice to have a couple of reliable quartz models in the box that you can reach for in a hurry.

I received as a gift a JLC Reverso quartz in 1993, over 31 years ago. Always accurate, never failed; only had to replace the battery several times. JLC replaced under warranty the dial due to some yellowing, around 1996-7. Still working perfectly today.

I've had a Certina DS action for around 5 years and it is an incredible watch for the price. I love wearing it

Talk about timing! I just ordered the Casio GWM5610 yesterday to replace my DW5600, for under 100 on Amazon you can't beat the price! Great video as always!
