James bond wears a Rolex,
But keeps a Casio in his pocket so he knows what the time is.

I have a place in my heart for fossil. My first watch that wasn’t a brandless piece of shit Walmart watch was a fossil, and it actually got me into watches. Also my most sentimental watch is a fossil that was a gift from my mother that had something really important engraved on the back. The quality is still very low and for the price range you should easily get a Casio instead, but fossil does a good job at getting average people into watches.

Edit: I keep seeing people say Walmart sells Fossil and I’m sure that’s the case in a lot of stores but I’m not talking about Fossil at all, I’m talking about the generic no brand watches Walmart manufactures and sells for like $15.

Rolex went from fashion brand to watch maker, so, there's hope for Fossil

i have a fossil watch and as I come close to watch community in instagram people have beef with FOSSIL made me insecure because I own a fossil watch and as far as I am concerned it looks and feels great too.

I'd 1000% recommend a Fossil watch over the fashion brands that just slap their logos on Fossil watches. I don't think they're dogshit since they're (Fossil) not trying to fool anyone.

Just my unpopular opinion, best watch is the one you love. I have a Seiko, wouldn't trade it for any. Same reason I love my Toyota, wouldn't trade it for a luxury car.

For me also Fossil and Lotus have sentimental value for me. Both watches were the first ones yi ever got. Don’t wear them very often anylonger but still love them when wearing.

My uncle got me a Fossil FS5624 for my 18th. The only problem I've had with it is that the battery only lasted 2 years (I'm used to solar and Casios). It's a little big and heavy (44 mm, 91g), but my wrist accommodates it. It keeps good time, the silicone strap is comfortable, I enjoy the funtionality of the chronograph and diver's bezel, but most importantly, I've had more compliments for this watch than any other. It's not my favourite watch, so I don't wear it too often, but when I do, I hear compliments even days after I've worn it. Everyone loves it on me. I encourage the production of affordable watches. Kids don't care about brand names, and I never would've had a watch if I could only have a Swiss made.

Not gonna lie, I wear a fossil. I've had two. One disappeared on me and the one I have is battery op. Battery is dead, but it stopped at the exact time of the event that ended my military career. It has some significance to me and has a minimalist design that I actually like. Yes, it's worn. Yes, it has scratches. Yes, it's a fossil. But it's mine. It's a 2014 m9del so I'm pretty sure it isn't worth that much now and Eben if it was it's not in new or even well kept condition. It's just something that I wear so my wrists aren't bare at thus time. Things are finally turning around for me so maybe I could afford a good higher end watch in the future but I just like the minimalist styling.

I wanted to get the zodiac super seawolf compression and found it for only $695 brand new, but I kept on seeing in forums people saying they have issues with the stp movements

Actually, until I started digging deep into watch world, I thought Fossil was a good brand, above Timex. Still keep the ones I bought because they were essentially my first watches.

I own Rolex's, Cartier, A Piguet, Roger Dubuis, Omega, etc, etc.. and.. Fossil among Casio G Shock..
Fossil and G shock i wear them every day, days a week, and the expesives ones, Friday, Saturday and.. Sunday's... so most of us, we collect watches, just to have the pleasure of owning them, to wipe them clean, to look at them in their winders... but except my Rolex Submariner, that is like a tank as resilient, i wear the G Shock's and Fossil's in every day life...
They are great, accesible, reliable, watches

I rather like Fossil watches, it's just the price is a little high for what it is. You could get nice Seiko pieces for what it costs for a fossil watch.

Those Fossil Blues were killer first watches back in the early 2ks!

Fossil is by no means a bad brand. It's a very beginner friendly brand with affordable, stylish watches. They provide good quality and keep the time well. I got into watches by buying a Fossil at one of their stores in Berlin, which provided me great service. Sure theres better watches for the price, but that takes some research and can be very overwhelming for someone who doesn't even have a watch yet. Fossil makes great watches for people who want something stylish and on top of that they provide quality and reliability.

@nicoleonard brother I own a Fossil, it's just a $100 watch but it's the most expensive one in my collection and my uncle gifted it to me for my 18th bday, keep in mind he owns like a $1000 in watches but doesn't even use them well he just has them thrown in a drawer
