Seiko speedtimer no maintenance no hassle of getting it serviced, great build quality

I’m normally seiko gang all the way, but out of these options I’m picking the Mido. It has a nice bracelet with on the fly adjustments, the usefulness of the timing bezel (which I actually use quite a bit), the day-date complications which I enjoy having, and it’s both rugged and dressy enough to cover you in any scenario!

That Hamilton Khaki is going to be the most versatile. Throw on a bracelet and you can wear it with a suit. A Nato will let you rock it with t-shirt and jeans. Reliability, Swiss movement...it really is a great 1 watch solution under 1K.

I can't get enough of my Mido Oceanstar 200 & my Tissot Powermatic 80 Gentlemen. 💯

PRX for sure, bracelet, dial, finishing, movement are all fantastic! Most watches at this price-point always skimp out on at least the bracelet.

That Seiko looks lovely, I'd go with that.

the tissot is my main goal at the moment for a first "expensive" wach. Just looks so perfect and clean

The Hamilton is a class act. Impossible to dislike something so tasteful. 😎

That Seiko chronograph was looking pretty sweet. Reminds me kind of like the Rolex Daytona a bit. One of my favs.

I really like the new Bulova Lunar Pilot with the blue dial.

As a non-watch guy, i'd say the first one (Hamilton Khaki Field Watch?) because it just looks so good and very versatile, i think it looks good with a lot of different strap styles.

I got the mido already in green but i would honestly go for the tissot. Such a beatiful piece and not that crazy expensive. Especially the ice blue is insane!

Number 1 for sure! The Hamilton Khaki can withstand everything and also still looks good!

The Hamilton, it'll look good on almost any strap, and is versatile but still elegant.

Got my first real watch, number 2 on the list. The tissot prx and its just straight up amazing. I got tons of compliments already and it looks and feels so amazing, i highly recommended it as your step in to “expensive” watches 10/10

Imo the Hamilton is the most timeless looking watch out of this bunch. In 50 years it will still look good.

Ordered my first auto movement watch on Sunday with a Hamilton KFA 38mm. Went with a bracelet, but am already looking for a nice sailcloth strap to add some diversity to the look. Can’t wait to get it!

I own the Tissot (blue dial), which is really nice. Currently considering the Lunar Pilot too.
