Following our deep dive into quartz watches from earlier this year, I wanted to do a list video where I take a look at some of the best quartz watches out there on the market. We'll go from the truly affordable range well into the (admittedly smaller) world of luxury quartz. What are some of your favorite quartz watches?

From $50 to $50, 000 - when someone is into watches, they're into all watches regardless of what personal preferences they may have towards their own collection. Teddy, I enjoy the enthusiasm as much as the expertise.

When I was a kid in the '80's I thought the calculator Casio was the coolest thing ever. Yes, I was on the math team in high school. Why yes, I am an engineer now.

Love my citizen eco-drive. 13 years on the same battery, the thing is durable and still looks great

I bought a Casio Duro in blue for my work watch after hearing you review it a while back. I have been very impressed for the $50 I spent. I highly recommend it!

Love Bulova. Always will. The Precisionist is fantastic. Anti Quartz snobs are idiots. I throw on my quartz all the time and I still love them. Teddy thanks for not being a snob. You’re a real watch enthusiast.

Would love to see Teddy do a full review of the Casio Oceanus, one of the premier quartz (solar) watches around! And they range from a few hundred to over $1, 000, so they’ve truly got something for everyone!

After buying only non-quartz watches over the last few years, I recently purchased a quartz Alpina chronograph and it’s awesome. It fits right into my rotation.

Recently acquired a GS "Sea of Clouds" (SBGP017), which has their 9F85 movement that's rated +/- seconds per year. It really is impressive to see the second hand being dead-on accurate for weeks on end, on top of the dial itself being a work of art. It's nice to have a watch that impresses you more as time goes by.

For people who are just entering watch collecting or simply want an everyday watch without breaking the bank, I think you gave quite a few options here. From my perspective, the best ones to consider are: Casio Duro, Casio Oak and Tissot PRX.

Given their features, these are all watches that would be keepers even if they would be part of a much more expensive collection.

Mondaine is a highly underrated brand. There are a variety of options. It's a great all-around watch. Thanks for featuring this watch.

I really love how Cartier (oh, and Bulgari too) hide the seconds hand on their quartz models. They're fully aware of the "cheapness" of the tick in the modern day, and sidestep it completely to provide something that still looks and behaves like luxury despite being quartz.

I actually bought a CASIO CA53W two weeks ago without watching this video because I liked the quirkiness behind the watch and it was on sale for $25. And now that I'm stumbling across this video, it feels nice to see you chose a calculator watch. Feels very retro and I've had many people draw their attention to the watch. Quick conversation starter.

The Bulova moon watch would absolutely dominate if it came in a more sensible size. I love it but just way to massive for my 7 inch wrist

I love that you respect all watches for their different merits.

I am surprised there was no mention of the Casio Oceanus series. Think S100 T200, but also many other more expensive versions in the series.

I've had a Longines Conquest V.H.P with the blue dial, what a fantastic watch that was!

Teddy, I just purchased the Bulova Luner watch. Partly because of your recommendation and in-depth review of it. For me, it rests perfectly on my wrist. I would say it has been one of the best, feel good purchase I have made in awhile...the quartz movement is simply amazing. Thank you!

Exactly, this is the sort of collecting one will elapsed into after years of collecting. I feel that having this mindset and openness to all sorts of watches (quartz, handwound or automatic) is the epitome of watch collecting and I’m glad I’ve reached this part in this never ending journey. It feels like religion to me. Really awesome that you collated what you thought were the best quartz watches and shared it with the community.
