When it comes to the Genesis lineup, the G70 is their entry-level offering and, as such, you could argue it’s their most important one, as the gateway to the Genesis experience. So, it needs to stay attainable, yet also wow buyers with what Genesis is capable of. So, let's find out how well an updated G70 completes that mission.

Here in L.A. these Genesis models regularly get valet parked right up front with the S-classes, 7 series, Taycans, Flying Spurs, etc.

I have big liking to the G70 when it first came out, but the facelift just makes me loving it even more, especially with the Sport model!

Genesis is the best car brand you aren't buying
They remind me of Lexus in the early 90's
They're a step ahed of the rest

Gotta tell you I love big American sedans, but Genesis is looking really good! I mean I'm impressed.

I have the first launch edition in Canada and it gets tons of looks and the performance is killer for the price. It's nearly perfect.

I would buy this G70 over TLX Type S ! This is fast! Front look is growing on me. It is fast

Completely excellent in every way. I’d happily own this. (Stick preferred, but a realist)

I bought my ‘22 G70 3.3t Sport Prestige a month ago with 61 miles on the odometer and I love it. I traded in my ‘17 Cadillac ATS-V for it. It’s obviously down in power compared to the V, but the ride comfort, interior and tech in the G70 makes up for it. With that said, I do miss the Recaro seats of the V. The comfort of those seats are hands down better than these, but I knew I’d have to sacrifice some things and I’m more than pleased over all. Biggest complaint is that it sits too high. Needs to be a solid 1” to 1.25” lower and I’ll remedy that soon enough.

I drive a Q50. I would consider this car as a replacement vehicle. I like the styling and interior.

The G70 3.3T is quick, but Motorweek messed up the 1/4 mile stats lol. The trap speed is way too low, and the ET is too quick. These cars run 13.0-13.2 @ 108-109 mph. Cars trapping 104 mph generally run 13.6-13.8 in the 1/4 mile, on average. Cars that run 12.7 generally trap 111-112 mph, on average.

Wow. impressive inside and out. And that zero to 60 time is Mustang territory. I want one! Wish it was a bit roomier in the back though.

Alot of style inside and out with just a hint of Mercedes and maybe Bentley here and there.

John Davis is awesome. The background music is very annoying. The Genesis is very handsome 😍

Nice to see it has a real gauge cluster

For the money, untouchable in class. I am not too fussed about the 3D gauges in other models, but not sure about this half hearted attempt though very happy it is not the crazy new BMW gauge cluster design. Definitely wish they had used the new 2.5l found in other Genesis models and the Stinger, way better than the 2.0. The 3.3l is sweet, but it is direct injection only compared to their new 3.5 which is DI and port injected so there should be no carbon build ups on the air intake valves. Minor grouches, a top spec G70 in their green color would look great in garage.
