Having previously owned a BMW 335i, you had me at "365hp twin turbo" lol. Love quick and responsive. Also love comfortable and refined. This G70 looks like the best of both worlds.

My biggest thing for as long as I could remember is that luxury brands always seemed to have the worst warranty. IF your quality is the "best" and everything is "top of the line"... How can you not have the best warranty? At least Genesis has 10 years 100k on the power train. BMW 4 years or 50k, Mercedes 48 months or 50k, Audi 4 years or 50k? Come on "luxury" brands you have no faith in your product..

Coming from the viewpoint of a 2013 Audi S6 owner, I love this car. It's design is beautiful for the most part (don't like the front end all that much though) and the interior is just as nice. I love all the tech and love the fact ACC (adaptive cruise control) is becoming more popular.
My only take away is I wish it had a bit better engine. Audi's new 2.9 litre has 80 more hp (not taking into account Audi grosely underrates their engines) and gets equal or better milage. 365hp for a "performance" model is a bit weak.
If I needed a new car now, I do believe it would be between this or a used Audi 2018 A6. I would hope it feels right after a test drive. Some cars look great but just have a bad feel to them.

I bought a 2023 G70 3.3 Turbo AWD. Hard to find in SoCal. Bought my wife the 2023 electric SUV GV70.

so many whiners are saying the BMW M440i has more power and better acceleration times.... if you want to win a drag race why even bother in this segment....
BMW KNOWINGLY does not rely on the same electrical suppliers that are the backbone of Toyotas / hyundais... they miss out on $5 billion in after-sales service if they built reliable cars...

Just something to think about. Some cars are built to last - others are lease-dispose products.

The 3.3L G70 is a sweet car overall but the thing that sorta kills it for me is the MPG at 17/25mpg... The 0-60mph times are a TOTAL NONE ISSUE as far as I'm concerned as I don't race my daily drivers for a living and the 3.3L G70 is plenty quick obviously (you're not going to be struggling to overtake traffic, etc..)

Exterior styling is odd to say the least. The heart-shaped front grill looks weird to my eye, and the rear exhausts are comically large. Sorry, but I would spend a bit more to get the Acura TLX Type S. That car has killer looks and the new Type S engine is a beast. And you get Honda reliability (unlike the Germans).

The only design elements truly unique are the split headlamp/taillamp treatments. Otherwise there's nothing new here. Oh, and that grille is too big.

I'd take the Alfa Giulia over this Genesis anytime/everytime.
