The Norse Afterlife - Mythology in 5 Minutes

A look at the Norse afterlife / Viking afterlife. It turns out it's a little more complicated than just Valhalla and Hel.

From Valkyries knitting your death in entrails, to the Goddess (and giant) Ran drowning sailors and taking them to her underwater afterlife. It turn's out the whole of Viking afterlife is just a confusing mess. A mess that people are trying to understand.

So, rather than help, I decided to do a video that completely skips over that and just gives you the basics in as sarcastic a way as possible. I'm helpful like that.

Hopefully it will help you understand how Christianity has made life difficult in understanding Norse mythology, and give you an appreciation of how the Norse saw the life after death as a little more complex than we do these days.
