Very interesting video - especially to me as a german. But I would like to point out (and thats because i am not from Bavaria :)) that even though Bavaria is now a "financial power house" in germany it was not until 1989. Until that time they have received money Equalization Payments . On Wiki there is a nice chart but unfortunately the english version is not as detailed as the german version. Anyhow - very nice / good video & dont worry about the pronunciation as german IS very difficult :) Keep up the good work

Funny how Napoleon in hindsight actually helped to create Germany with mediatisation and secularisation

Prussia was wealthier and had the most industries compared to Bavaria and baden, it was until after WW2 they fell behind because of communism. Leipzig, Dresden and Berlin produced more scientist than south Germany before WW2.
