Music Theory is an example of a class that most people taking it already knew everything gone over in it. So it’s not necessarily easy, it’s just elementary and goes over stuff that most of the students have been learning about since they were 9

To get a 5 on the AP Calc test, you really need to score like a 47% or above

Calculus BC also has a survivorship bias. It's such an intimidating course that the only people that take it know they will do good, so of course they get a 5. In all honestly any course that is balanced with having easy concepts and easy applications. Calc AB was probably the easiest AP alongside AP Gov and Macro. Gov builds on like all us history you have ever learned throughout all of k-12 and Macro has like 5 graphs and a handful of concepts that go along way. Calc just kills people if you were bad in algebra.

As someone who took Calc BC last year and got a 3 I feel personally attacked, wounded, emotionally destroyed, called out, harassed, and violated. I don’t think I will ever recover please no one ever look in my direction again for my soul has been reaped and I will now be passing on to the next stage of dumbassery.

Any class is easier if it's in the basics of something you've already been learning for years, Music Theory is easy for people who've already learned the content same as any other class where you'd already learned the content

I think AP art history depends on who tf you have as a teacher. In my school it is known as a class you don’t fucking touch with a 12 foot pole because coming into contact with it is a death sentence.

Lol BC is not easy to get a 5 on.

The reason most people get a 5 on it is because they were already well prepared for the class and took AB a year earlier. I thought it was easy and wondered why so many people got 5’s until I did a bit of research.

Tl;dr - People who take the class are already successful in math. Surprised he doesn’t know that as a Harvard student
