The EASIEST AP Classes to Take

Even the easiest APs can be hard with the right teacher. The teacher I had for APES taught a lot of content outside of what was on the AP exam. He made the tests he gave us hard to the point most would get in the 70s. He was a good teacher too and a heavy environmentalist. The guy literally biked an hour from New Jersey every day (even if it was snowing) just so he could live as environmentally friendly as possible 💀

I got a 1 on Ap human geo freshman year but introduced me to Ap type questions/ content and I think it’s a good place to start for people

I took ap comp sci principles freshman year and honestly it's a great class. It gives a great understanding of computer science themes and topics that can be very useful. It also introduced me to the ap format which was nice.

teacher makes a huge difference. my comp sci class was the hardest ap ive taken because he assigned much harder work outside of the ap curriculum.

Even though I took AP comp sci principles this year, I felt that I didn’t grasp the concepts until the week before the AP test due to the fact that my teacher was out from January due to her being on maternity leave. But that was my circumstance and I had to deal with it in the end, but I can say it was very self study-able

I almost failed APES cause it was so much to memorize but mainly due to my teachers instruction.

We never went over homework nor the notes.

It was difficult for me in high school but am now an environmental studies major in college 😅

For my experience with HuGeo, I had a teacher that never taught it before, would read his slides then tell us his understanding, and very clearly hated us. Great experience.

Although AP CSP is easy it’s honestly not worth taking tbh, took it this year and felt like i learned literally nothing from the course

I love that at my school all of these "easy" APs are notorious for having God-awful teachers.

hard agree on psych and environmental science. our school's ap psych class was only 1 semester. you were supposed to take regular psych the first semester and then move into to ap the second semester but i jumped in in the second semester and still got a 5. i didn't even take environmental science--a bunch of us who were in ap bio just decided to also sit for the environmental science test and passed.

taking AP calc BC right after AP calc AB is a total life hack i would 100% recommend because half of the content overlaps meaning even if AB was hard BC will feel like a breeze afterward

I’m watching this after doing course registration (I’m in 9th grade right now, and this is what I signed up for next year):

AP Pre-Calc
AP Chem
Orchestra 2
AP English 3
AP World History
Swimming

(Might take AP Bio if I can fit it in my schedule somehow)

It should be a fun sophomore year

(I’m also taking AP Human Geography and AP Computer Science Principles this year)

apcsp is super free if you need to do ap classes but don’t want to put in a lot of work do it
