AP Stats in high school made my freshmen and sophomore years of statistics so much easier, that little head start over everyone else made a huge difference in understanding the concepts

If your school offers it, I would actually recommend AP Seminar over AP Lang if you’re going for college writing skills. You focus more directly on the college researching and writing aspects, whereas with Lang, you’re typically broadening your focus to the analysis part of reading.

All very true, I'm taking Lang and Calc this year and they are absolutely integral to my major and general education bogus. Also I took stats last year and it was easy enough (scored a 4 with minimal studying) yet it set me up well for some of the math and research courses required for EE.

I go to a private school, and the material you described in AP English Language is the type of thing we did in 10th grade. I find that rather humorous.

AP Spanish id also say is useful for most career paths and at the very least is one of the most applicable APs to test out of a college GED requirement
