How to make French Brioche BY HAND. It's not easy but you sure will get a wrist workout. I unashamedly used the recipe for brioche given by Michel Roux, the master.
INGREDIENTS
70 ml warm milk (full fat)
8 g fresh yeast
500 g plain flour
350 g butter, slightly softened
30 g caster sugar
1 egg yolk mixed with honey and salt, for egg wash
6 eggs, beaten

I put the butter into the warm milk and incorporate then pour the whole thing into the flour which has the sugar, salt & yeast.
