Made this for breakfast today, except i just used the white bread that i had at home already then i made a cream cheese frosting instead and WOW it was amazing ! My toddler loved it and he is extremely picky !!!

Ingredients:
2 thick slices of brioche bread
15g butter, softened (plus a knob extra)
½tbsp light brown sugar
1tsp cinnamon
1 large egg
40ml milk
1tsp vanilla
1tbsp granulated sugar
1tbsp icing sugar
½tsp water

1) In a medium sized bowl, mix together the butter, light brown sugar and ½ cinnamon until combined.

2) Spread the mix over one of the brioche slices and sandwich it with the other.

4) In a large bowl whisk together the egg, milk and vanilla until combined.

5) Dunk the sandwich in the mix until most of it has been soaked up.

6) Melt some butter in a pan then toast the sandwich on a medium heat until golden on each side.

7) Mix together the granulated sugar and ½tsp cinnamon in a small bowl.

8) Coat the bread in the cinnamon sugar on each side.

9) Mix together the icing sugar and water in a small bowl until smooth and runny.

10) Drizzle the icing over the French toast.

11) Enjoy!

That looks delicious! 😋 I might try making this today. I love brioche! I actually had pulled pork sandwiches on brioche buns for dinner last night. The pulled pork was a bit too spicy for my taste, but it was SO good that I just couldn't stop eating it! LOL

Brioche makes everything better! The subtle sweetness makes it so good with a nice spicy hummus too. It's the perfect bread
