Be aware everyone its not just Mcdonalds. This is almost all fast food chains and processed foods in the grocery store. Read labels. Eat real food.

I was an alcoholic who worked at Sonic for 4 years. Ate a free double cheese burger and/or cheese fries nearly every day during that time. I developed a terrible addiction to sugar on top of the alcoholism and I don't know how my body survived, but I certainly don't miss how I felt back then.

Glad I gave up fast food over 20 years ago. I had no idea McDonald's fries have 19 ingredients. Well Done I enjoyed that. Plus extra credit for dissing them inside a McDonald's.

The McDonald's food I ate in the 70s and 80s was way better than what you get today. I don't eat there anymore.

I'm a small farmer from Croatia. I keep chickens in a big yard so they are free range, i keep pigs and i grow my own fruits and vegetables in my garden. The difference in taste and quality between my food and the toxic trash from the supermarket is like day and night.

I stopped eating Maccas about 15 years ago which was a good decision & I've never looked back. In the last few months I've discovered that I'm dairy, wheat and gluten intolerant & this has made me reassess my life. I now eat a lot healthier & feel much better & my body has been thanking me for this big change. I live in Western Australia.😊 🇦🇺

I managed Mc D for 15 yrs. When was 16 most of it was made from scratch. I had to make biscuits by hand ect. Now it all comes prepared and frozen. We used real fat for frying. Now its not. Its very very sad the amount of chemicals they " sneak" in it all.
This needs to be on 60min.

Last time I purchased a meal from McDonald's, I got sick and had to get home real quick. That was years and years ago.
I finally got the cooking craze. Pretty basic meals but I know what's in them so I don't get sick. I'm 81 and kinda surprised how cheaply I can get by preparing my own meals.

When I lived in the USA I used to eat Mcdonalds all the time. Had nothing but stomach issues. After leaving I stopped eating it and 98% of my issues resolved. True story.

Most of my friends have diabetes, I'm in my 60's and stopped eating MCD's 15 years ago cause I thought it was garbage. I don't have it, thank God! Thanks doctor for reinforcing my thoughts, Best decision I made

Boomer here. In primary school health class, I was taught that iodine is added to salt to prevent thyroid problems (eg. goitre). You did not comment on it. Is it still considered a valuable addition to salt? I follow a keto lifestyle, cooking at home, and avoiding processed foods. I last ate at MacDonalds in 2009 but did eat at Tim Horton's infrequently before quitting about 10 months ago.
