The role of Captain Marvel could bring Brie Larson fan adoration and worldwide popularity. However, Brie's behavior caused a lot of hate and criticism. The actress is accused of hypocrisy and man-hatred. However, is Brie Larson really as bad as she is being described?

It all started back when the MCU announced that Brie Larson would be Captain Marvel. Marvel fans came to life to see a man in place of the strongest superhero in the universe, as in the original comics. The audience also did not like the way Brie Larson looks in the trailer for Captain Marvel. Things got worse when everyone saw Brie Larson's joint interviews with other actors. Brie only responded to all the compliments of Chris Hemsworth with jokes and did not show mutual friendly sympathy for her colleague. Brie Larson finally became an icon of man-hatred when she gave the acceptance speech at the Women in Film Awards.

Haters aren't too eager to find out the reason for Brie Larson's competitive nature when it comes to interacting with men. Many prefer not to think about how Brie Larson's father hurt her in her childhood, that she still cannot restore a relationship with him. Brie Larson's childhood was incredibly hard on her perception of men, but at the same time helped her learn to build super-strong friendships with women, as well as work hard. So Brie Larson has long been a close friend of Scarlett Johansson, and Brie's career is striking in its success, which has already brought her an Oscar in 2013 for The Room movie. So we advise you to quickly take a look at this OSSA’m video to find out everything about Brie Larson's career, personal life and movies!

What is your opinion of Brie Larson's behavior?

Im just glad people are finally calling out certain women for bad behavior. Sympathizing with them doesn't help anyone. Adversity makes us all stronger and the sooner someone calls us out for being a certain way the sooner we can change for the better. Letting beautiful, rich or famous people off the hook just breeds more of the same

Give me a break... There are a lot of women who grew up without fathers - a lot of men that grew up without fathers - and vice versa. I don't feel sorry for her. I knew nothing about her politics - nothing about her speech regarding reviews from white men... I was simply very excited to see Captain marvel - and I didn't care if a man or woman was playing it - I didn't care if the person playing it was white or black or gay or straight... I was just excited for a good film. Being a big fan of the MCU... Who wasn't excited? And it was hyped up so much that I purchased it on a streaming service the moment I was able to. And oh my gosh, I thought it was so bad - and had so much potential that I was just angry. Pretty sad that I'm angry over a movie of all things going on in this world. But that was my visceral reaction. And why was I angry? Because Brie Larson gave such a poor performance and I couldn't imagine watching her on screen in future movies being part of the MCU. And I don't believe that there was just a lot of trolls not liking the movie because they had something against Brie Larson. She was just terrible in that role - It wasn't just comical, it was truly cringeworthy. I wanted to like this film no matter who was playing Captain marvel - I was ready to love it - and I tried. Then watching some of the interviews with the other cast members from The marvel universe - I thought she was arrogant and disrespectful. I think it's the biggest black mark on the MCU. Having nothing to do with Brie Larson's politics or feminism or whatever you want to call it... It was just very bad casting and a horrible performance. But what made it worse, was her arrogance and pouting along with it.

She signed up for a super hero movie as one of the strongest marvel heroes and looks weaker than the average woman. She obviously didn't seriously prep for the role and some would argue she didn't prep mentally with studying the character either. I didn't even finish the movie, I walked out of the theater knowing I got bamboozled out of my hard earned money.
She doesn't take acting seriously and it shows. Look at her female counterparts. I shed some tears when Zoe Saldana got killed by thanos for that soul stone and she had the build for her character. Scarlett Johansson must have worked out a ton and mentally prepped for her role cuz she had muscle and I believed she was her character through every one of her movies. Karen Gillan looked and acted like a damaged tortured woman and I think she even went balled for the first movie! I could keep going.

What did Brie Larson do when signing up for a character bigger than thor? She freaking made a video of her pushing a jeep. Look at her brittle form of a body. The only good acting she's ever done is say that "she works out a lot". I don't get how she gets all these movie roles. She's the human epitome of the phrase "a day late and a dollar short". When I see her as one of the stars in a movie, I just skip it.

I don't care about her behavior outside movies. I don't boycott movies because of politics. I'll go see a movie from a nazi if it's good. I just don't see bad movies, so I just don't see her movies. Who knows, maybe she'll do a ryan reynolds and recover from her green latern movies. If that's the case, I'll go see her movies but so far, she has struck out on just about every movie she's done.

Brie lacks the maturity to handle adversity. Her over compensation for every question she views as confrontational is sad. I pity her.

I was molested by my father and groomed by him throughout my entire childhood yet I don't dislike or resent men. I also don't project my own insecurities onto them in an attempt to boost my own self-esteem & ego.

I remember other instance where she showed hate towards men, like when she refuses to get asked question by male journalist, could you imagine if today in 2023 a men actor would go on public and say something like he doesnt want a female journalist asking questions, she is not a strong women, she is a hater and a bad exemple for the younger generation

I still don’t feel sorry for her. A bad start in life doesn’t mean she can’t be gracious

She has shown the world how little her professionalism is. She is not clueless why these things are happening to her. She needs a permanent fix before she goes back in making movies and attending interviews.

I thought she did a great job in the movie “Room”. She showed her talent for acting.
As Captain Marvel, she was meh. I’m confused as to how she even got the part.

Just bc she had childhood trauma does not make it okay for her to take it out on all “white men” go to therapy like everyone else brie

I didn't know movies were gender based and only certain genders, sexual orientations, and races were allowed to critique her movies lol

I bet if they made captain marvel in 2010, it would have been a man like it was supposed to. Idk what Marvel and Disney have been doing recently, but with the failure of captain marvel 2, i think they are going to change

Christian Bale has put himself on record as believing that American culture would be 'much richer' if the people in power weren't mostly white men. The actor made the comments during an interview with AOL Build this past Monday as he sat with Rosamund Pike and Wes Studi to promote the upcoming Wild West drama film Hostiles. "Our culture will be so much richer the day that we stop saying, 'Hey, it's all white dudes who are running things, " Bale said. "Whether that be Hollywood, whether that be Washington, you know?" "We're going to get, in Hollywood, so much better films and so much more interesting stories being told, and America will become the America that the rest of the world sees it as, that makes it unique... that we recognise makes this such a beautiful, brilliant country." Bale went on to call the US a 'country of inclusion', explaining that he moved his family to the States because he fell in love with the country. Bale, who has two young children Emmaline and Joseph with the American make-up artist Sandra 'Sibi' Blažić, applied for US citizenship in 2010. "It's the reason why I moved here, " he said. "It's the reason why my kids have American accents."
