The number one problem that causes poverty, what nobody seems to realize, is how poor people keep having children when they cannot afford to do so. If you could somehow persuade people otherwise, poverty would be either eliminated or greatly reduced

How the majority of poor parents verbally, emotionally, mentally, and physically etc... abuse their kids (basically killing their self worth/self esteem/spirit) will keep them poor and lower their chances even more of ever getting out of poverty plus cause them mental/emotional/physical health problems... but they don’t like to talk about that, about what they create... they’ll just blame their situation on everything and everyone... they’ll even blame it on those same kids even though those kids never asked to be here...

Most poor ppl have a negative attitude towards everything, with how they look at money they have anger & hate towards rich wealthy people and hate government.

Poor people are poor because they do not understand basic fiance. (more than just poor people, almost all people). We need to teach in public education simple financial principles 'time value of money' in the 7th grade. Do you know it takes only $1000 to open Vanguard Account? Instead of talk talk talk on income inequality, we would be better adding basic finance and throwing out geography or history...that is not important as basic finance...yet I see no real change here, still teaching same stuff like 50 years ago.

When it comes to education, why do we tolerate substandard primary and secondary education? A high school graduate should have enough education to function at a much much higher level. College should only be needed for specialized professions like MDs, Lawyers, Engineers, etc.

Yeah my flawed choice to go to college for a music degree unfortunately set me on a path of poverty and bankruptcy trying to pay back 100k of loans for a worthless degree that I was told for 18 years of my life I'd need to get a job or be worth anything. Well I got the degree with straight A's, but I can't pay it back and have been bankrupt for over 2 years now fighting the loans. Yeah my flawed choice. Nothing to do with a corrupt system that prays on 18 year old kids and has them sign out a loan for 100k and set them on a path of destruction.
