I have used diamond tip drills in quarry work for years, on these core samples you can clearly see the marks left from power drills, and they are even in rotation, meaning constant equal pressure , which is consistent with modern diamond tip drills .surely they would try to take microscopic metal trace samples of the cores, and bore holes .if their is some residue left that should give them scientific measurable answers .

With a. Long bow ..like a bow and arrow wrapped around the drill bit pushing down while pushing and pulling the bow .... Or having a big hamster cage with 2 people inside running or walking and geared so axel runs horizontally to drill down with the drill bit. Think about it look at every Mark in the hole they take pauses as you can see the layers to take breaks.. I'm just saying
