The older I get the more I realize we have absolutely no idea on any of it, we know nothing 😂

Look at some of the cores found. The rate at which the rose granite was cut is insane. Also the accuracy is wild.

Any construction worker would believe they could do this back then, drilling into stone is not difficult, they would just take longer to do it without power tools

We have been lied to for so long we believe we are at the pinnacle of a technological modern society.

It's like you think we were Monkees 10, 000 years ago bro. We've been this smart for hundreds of thousands of years!

The American Indians drilled holes in stone and slate with reeds chips of flint and sand. And also used Flint drills to drill through slate and rock . It just takes a lot of perseverance, so it’s really not impossible. It’s just time consuming with a lot of energy expelled!

Make a masonry bit. Crush up some Ruby and mix with hot pitch. Dip a rounded end of a stick or rod into the mixture then let cool. Or dip the stick in pitch then crushed Ruby. Either way should work well with water on stone however the mixture method will give consistency and better wear as the pitch erodes and reveals new ruby. A tool like this wouldn't survive time too well.

They used sand as an abrasive, the copper was there to keep the sand rubbing against the granite. It’s like saying “how did they polish this piece of metal with a cloth” they used a polishing compound, the cloth is a tool

They were using pressurized water with sand particles. I've used CNC water jet to cut steal like butter..

They measured the striations from the hole walls to calculate how much material is removed per rotation and it turns out we can't even come close to that with modern technology, when trying to drill the same type of rock

Water powered mills. The Nile was RIGHT THERE! C’mon if you didn’t think the same thing!

Literally every ancient civilization says that people from the sky showed them how to do this stuff and science still says they were just making that up

I did a lot of big bore masonry drilling in the 90s and the gear I was using then was way better than that. I'd put a 10cm hole through a couple metres of marble or granite in less than a day with machines and modern drills and borers.

The Egyptians didnt build the pyramids and they worshipped the people who did. It was the most advanced civilization we have ever had including today.

I hate these hard edits that are clearly trying to imply something but miss pieces of conversations that wasn't said that way
