And he also realized that aika is way beautiful for the likes of him, so he just wants to support her from the distance. Rejections is nothing to him because he loves aika so much, but he realized that he is being selfish because of his actions so decided to not to pursue her anymore, but instead fix what he has done for Aika to live a normal life just like before he met her in middle school.
