True, but that also leaves the fact that the US will also be the first country that will face the fallout from AI use in society the soonest, especially if it is misused by the wealthy and cooperations out of greed, like how in one of your videos, like with how the roman aristorcacy missused slaves to their advantage at the expense of free poorer romans.
Except in this situation with social media and everything else, the effects may be far larger.

But I do agree for now and the near future the US is the preeminent super power and the rest of the countries only regional ones at best, for good or for bad

If the EU manages to survive the demographic crisis(assuming it actually happpens and we don't discover a way to cure aging), it would probably remain powerful, although as somewhat of an extension of the united states.

I think you’re making the fundamental error of treating each one of America’s rivals as distinct entities. If they formed together as a coalition as they are beginning to do, they could plausibly achieve economic independence and have access to far more resources than the US. On the other hand, I think you are correct that the US has a strong technological advantage that puts it squarely ahead. On the religious thing I think it’s a bit of non factor when it comes to a country with a propaganda machine as strong as China. Atheist nationalists and commies seem just as willing to fight and die as religious fanatics. The US also has a significant obesity and health problem that puts a large portion of its population out of combat already, whereas most of the US’s rivals do not have similar issues.

To be honest, I think the US’s future depends on its ability to maintain the loyalty of the emerging third world powers (India and Brazil) to its world system. If those countries build closer economic ties with China and Russia it could severely threaten the US’s global hegemony. Sure Russia or China alone stand little chance, but such a massive bloc would be very dangerous. Maintaining an Atlanticist EU is also vital to the US’s global hegemony.
