Isn’t it kinda scary how when it comes down to it, billions of peoples lives could be ended over a conflict most had nothing to do with. Nuclear weapons are expensive, and the most destructive form of weapon anybody has. I hope and pray the leaders of these countries see how pointless it would be to end the world over something as temporary as a war.

For Finland a recent series of events has shown them having a greater military power then Britain.

Something to take into account: both India and China stated many times that they will use their nuclear arsenal only as a mean of retaliation for a nuclear strike on them. If the war goes nuclear, neither India nor China will start it or even continue it as long as no one strikes them with a nuclear warhead.
Another thing: China relies on Taiwan for quite a lot products and resources and they know well enough that any damage to this relationship will backfire. There is a reason China are yet to invade Taiwan. Russia also demonstrates what happens to invaders.
I do agree with one thing: if someone is LIKELY to start WW3, it will be Russia.

EDIT:
For all of you who keeps on commenting, all I'm talking about is my guess as to who will be the first to use a nuclear weapon, not who will start WW3.

New Zealand may not be as safe as you think. The highly successful WW1 German surface raider SMS Wolf was laying mines and sinking allied merchantmen off both New Zealand and Australia. In WW2 German ultra long range U boats based out of Singapore were also attacking sea traffic.
