India.. one of the largest countries in the world… With a highly skilled population the west can’t hire fast enough.

With a history of toppling empires… And now, it has an economy many think will topple one more… China.

It’s said that India’s economy won’t just equal China’s… It will blow past them. Taking China’s spot in the global hierarchy. But. is. This. Actually. True?

Because this would flip the economy of the world.. Impacting you directly.. Maybe making you rich in the process.. And more importantly. Will China let this happen?

Unlike the most of western countries, india has independent and unique foreign policy. We are not autocratic nation like china, saudi arabia, russia but we are also not puppet nation of USA/west. Thats why these articles mostly criticise india. We are not perfect but no one is.

Vasco Da Gama did not initiate trade between India and Europe! We have Roman coins from the 1st Century CE which makes the trade relations at least 2000 years old

Gandhi was not the reason why Brits left India. It was when mainland Indians started to know that there was a standing Indian army fighting against the Brits for their freedom. Brits wisely cut ties to avoid bloodshed for their own people. Even the last viceroy himself said that the Gandhi and his non-violent movement's effect was minimal to the empire.

As an Indian residing in India, I am very well aware of the mindset of our people and our govt. A powerful India isn't a threat to any country but only to those who would dare to intrude our lands or harm our people. I as an Indian would want to live in harmony with any European, American, African, Asian or Australian and that is the general thought process across the country. As an example, check the ratio of Indians living abroad and crimes they have committed. We are ambitious yet simple people trying to make our lives better by working or setting up business but at the same time, we are very patriotic and united when it comes to our motherland.

All said and done, no one has to be afraid of us. We will co-exist in peace and harmony 🙏🏻🕉️

India is not taking over anything. It is just growing. The good thing about India and its values is that it thinks about everyone, everywhere and across all times. We like to include all aspects of the picture in the final solution, because as an ancient civilization we have that sense of scale. So, you can trust us. We are a land of devotion, so don't worry about any takeover. We will do what is best for us and for everyone.

As an Indian, who is part of the employed youth, I am so happy to see India succeeding in so many ways, including economy. Sure we still have some problems to resolve, or many. Yet, without a doubt, we have rise to a great power, & I hope with God's blessings & wisdom we do the right thing for ourselves & global relations. I think Dalai Lama summed it up correctly. He said like every country India has a lot of conflicts. Infact because we are not homogenous we always have conflict whenever new laws are passed for example. But if you look at things at the macroscopic level India is the only country that has still remained united despite its riots, conflicts and disagreements and has stood the test of time over a millenia.

I think China will come out ahead of India because China are simply better organized in all aspects of their society and foreign affairs. India has still a lot of work to do in terms of their education infrastructure, letting go of the negative effects of the caste system, extreme poverty and rampant corruption. India will need another 50-100 years to address all those issues correctly. Where as China are poised to maybe become the global super power in the next 50-100 years. Of course, that's just me speculating. I don't know. I love the Indian people and their culture. Here in Canada and USA, I never hear anything bad about the Indian communities and they are by far the wealthiest communities here. Very hard working and kind people.
