Depends on your use case. I am a programmer. I need MacBook for sure. But iPad is also cool. I have both. ✌🏻

For the longest time the obvious answer would be the Mac but if you don’t need any specialist software. The iPad connected to a monitor with the Apple pencil had been running my setup whilst my M2 Mac Mini has been collecting dust

I like using both. I use the ipad alone when I consume entertainment media, then use it as a secondary monitor for my macbook when I need to process documents. People raving about 144hz when the true hype should be about having a secondary monitor for work.

I would kill for a new MacBook. My 2016 Pro is getting a little slow. Can’t afford an upgrade tho, so I’m just gonna do repairs on the 2016 and keep it as long as I possibly can

I literally had to make the choice a month ago. And I chose M3 MacAir because my previous one was still intel MacAir and it struggled to run ZOOM with anything else on. And I have M2 iPad Pro

I personally don’t have to choose now because I do have the highest spec M3 Max MacBook Pro 16in and the new M4 iPad Pro 13in. Now, if I did have to choose, it would be a hard one Cuz the MacBook Pro is definitely good for work and like using out a desk, but the iPad I love because I use it to watch videos like if my phone is charging or if I’m on my bed and I want a bigger display. I would say the iPad is definitely more portable than the MacBook because you don’t got that extra keyboard and bulk but at the same time if you got the smaller MacBook Pro, it might be different.

Now I know I’m late to this video 😂. BUT! I have both Macbook pro M1 and iPad Pro M4 with Magic Keyboard. And I really think it’s what you would prefer, and not “what’s best” because for me I really enjoy having both it’s giving me a freedom to just use the IPad in school instead of taking my MacBook. But again it’s what you prefer! I wish y’all a very good day
