A lot of people don’t mention the Apple Pencil is compatible with sidecar. You can get full photoshop, plus the Apple Pencil experience.

I used ipad m1 9th gen for the last 4 years. I upgraded to ipad pro m4. And after 2 months of use I can say that, I dont need an upgrade for tleast next 10 years. IPAD 9th gen was best in the market. Honestly It is still perfect without a single scratch...but for me investing a a good Tablet, powerfull like ipad will be one of my best purchase.
My Suggestion for Student - Not everyone need an Ipad m4, but if you need an ipad then you can even choose ipad 9th or 10th gen. That depends upon you, upon your pocket. But never buy Ipad Air.

In my opinion I need an actual computer. I used to use an iPad in high school but oh my gosh once I got a laptop that was a game changer. It could run actual windows programs and I can actually get stuff done instead of using the app version of desktop apps on iPad
