In this video I will show you how to install QEMU KVM on linux. KVM is a type 1 hypervisor also known as bare metal hypervisor works directly with machines hardware instead of using an operating system. KVM allows full virtualization and allows to run virtual machines on linux very quickly and experience the near native speeds.

Nice and valuable! Thanks. I'm experimenting with NixOS right now. A fantastic, but not so easy to understand, configuration system.

Nice intro!
I am hosting also a Win11 VM on my Fedora 41 laptop with Wi-Fi network access only, and would like to have my VM visible on the same LAN as the rest of my home network while still being able to access it from the host. My attempt at using nm-tui to set up a virtual bridge with the wireless interface is failing miserably! (Bridging with an Ethernet adapter works, but then I’m anchored to my server room)
Do you have any recommendations?

When I write this command: sudo virsh net-start default
I get this error message (Arch Linux Vanilla):

error: Failed to start network default
error: Unable to find 'dnsmasq' binary in $PATH: No such file or directory

What to do?
