White Fish with beurre blanc chive sauce

Beurre blanc is a classic French sauce which means white butter. It's made with a reduction of white wine vinegar and finely chopped shallots and optional herbs. It's emulsified by adding soft butter, in this case I also added a little cream to avoid separation. Served with a fresh white fish that's been pan fried in nut brown butter. So quick and easy and of restaurant quality.

Wow this recipe looks good :-) I appreciate your hard work :-) can´t imagine make few videos during one week. I personally love beurre blanc, because you can make it with ingredients which you like. I am using white wine, soy sauce and grated ginger and sauce is so perfect :-)

For all the people asking what kind of fish, any fish with a white, light flaky texture can be used. These include Haddock, Mullet, Halibut, Sea Bass, Turbot, Sole, Cod, Monkfish, Tilapia, etc.... I personally think Salmon would be good as well, but then I really like Salmon.

Since discovering this channel last Friday, I've put on 17 kg. I hold you personally responsible for this, Joel. Another excellent recipe and outstanding production values. Apart from some of the sweet dishes (I don't have a sweet tooth), there's not a single recipe I wouldn't cook. All delicious.
